2020 Champagne Dinner & Auction has been postponed
In light of the current global Covid-19 pandemic the BC Government has taken steps to slow the transmission of this virus. As such, the Foundation’s annual Champagne Dinner & Auction has been postponed. We will keep you advised when a future date is selected. About the Event
The Champagne Dinner & Auction gala has grown to be the Cowichan Valley’s premier fundraising event. Nearly 400 guests bid through silent and live auctions during a fun filled evening. Each year we receive fantastic donations of vacation and weekend getaways, dining and theatre excursions, golf packages, artwork, collectibles, jewelry, cash and many other diverse items!
Since the galas inception in 1989 it has remained the Foundation’s major fundraising event. Our 2019 event raised $200,000. The funds raised in 2019 were dedicated to increasing bed capacity at our current hospital and 20% of the funds raised are dedicated towards the new hospital building fund.
