Thank you for considering Cowichan District Hospital Foundation (CDHF) as the recipient of the proceeds from your fundraising event. Through your fundraising efforts and support of the Foundation, you are helping us advance our mission to harness the power of philanthropy to fund and support exceptional medical equipment at Cowichan District Hospital and Cairnsmore Place, enhancing health and wellness in the Cowichan Valley.

We appreciate all donations raised by individuals, organizations, or businesses who engage in fundraising events. There are many different ways that you could raise money – host a sporting event, throw a party, sell something – but the most important thing is to choose something that is a good fit for your time and available resources. Such events are considered “Third Party” events, meaning that you are responsible for the planning, promotion, and expenses associated with the event and CDHF is the recipient of revenues generated by the event.

Any event associated with CDHF must promote and maintain a positive image of the Foundation, and associating our name with your event must receive prior approval. Materials may not state or imply that the event is a Cowichan District Hospital Foundation event.
