Dr Willie Pewarchuk is retiring after 32 years at CDH. Everyone who has ever met him will remember his fabulous and well-groomed moustache. Now, that famous facial hair is going to be removed, and Dr Pewarchuk is hoping to have some fun and raise some funds for Cowichan’s new hospital.
Friends and colleagues are being encouraged to make a donation before November 30th and Dr Pewarchuk is going to match those donations – up to $10,000. Thanks to the Jim Pattison ‘Donations Doubled’ match we will be able to double the grand total of the fundraiser. Dr Pewarchuk has a goal to raise $40,000, a significant amount towards our current campaign, helping us finish strong.
An added incentive to donate early, the person making the biggest donation through the portal by November 21 will have the opportunity to be part of the Razing Ceremony near the end of November.
