Jim Shockey, an award-winning television host, producer, writer, and curator of the ‘Hand of Man’ Museum in Maple Bay, has been a committed supporter of the Cowichan District Hospital Foundation.
Jim’s beloved wife, Louise, very sadly passed away in 2023 after a brave battle with cancer. We are so grateful for their longstanding support, and are honoured to have sat down with Jim recently to hear more about their story.
Louise wanted to continue to help her community even after her passing – so she had asked that donations be made in her memory to Cowichan District Hospital Foundation. The impact was significant.
